What? Donington Historic Festival

Why? Donington Historic Festival is the Midland’s and one of Europe’s biggest classic motoring events. The festival offers visitors the chance to see hundreds of saloons, sports cars and single seater’s spanning more than nine decades. Along with trade stands, demonstrations and exhibitions, visitors can watch pre 1966 Fords, pre 1963 GTs and even rare pre 1941 ‘war races.’ The event also offers camping at Donington Park Farmhouse, directly opposite the race track.

What? Formula 1 British Grand Prix

What? Isle of Man Tourist Trophy (TT)

Where? Isle of Man
Why? Going since 1907 and consisting of a practice week followed by a race week, the Isle of man TT is the ‘most dangerous racing event in the world’ according to the New York Times. If you’re more into motorcycles than cars, this event is the one for you. Whether you want to meet the riders, or enjoy live music and comedy from Reggie Yates, Laura Whitmore, Ed Gamble and many more in the Fan Park, the Isle of Man has plenty to offer during this two-week bonanza.
